Mcfarlains Family Restaurant
Inspired by the IMAX® adventure “Ozarks Legacy & Legend,” McFarlain’s Family Restaurant is a Branson exclusive. This full-service restaurant, located inside Branson’s IMAX® Entertainment Complex, is famous for its legendary Ozarks cuisine, homemade pies, unique atmosphere and entertaining hospitality!
Come hungry... McFarlain’s features hearty, cooked-to-order breakfasts…possibly even Branson’s Best Country Breakfast, plus lunch and dinner entrees ranging from homemade soups, salads, sandwiches, and their own special slow-cooked pot roast…chicken, ribs, shrimp and steak. A popular lunch item, the “McFarlain’s Special” to be exact, is a heaping portion of that slow-cooked pot roast, atop good old white bread, topped with gravy and a side of luscious creamy mashed potatoes. It’s the epitome of comfort food and no one makes it better! Don’t forget about McFarlain’s Famous Honey Cornbread, Fried Green Tomatoes and a special kids menu, too. Save room for dessert because McFarlain’s has Branson’s largest selection of daily, made-from-scratch cobblers, fruit and crème pies,…including the one-of-a-kind Branson Traffic Jam Pie made with cherries, strawberries, rhubarb and cranberries. That particular combination might not sound like something you’re looking for, but you would just have to try it. It’s just the right combination of sweet and tart, and nothing like you’ve had anywhere else. If you have ever visited Branson then you will know exactly where this famous pie gets its name from. Have you ever tried gooseberry pie? It has been recently added to our menu, so come on in for a taste! And let’s not forget about the atmosphere. In keeping with the early 1900’s theme featured in the Branson exclusive IMAX® adventure “Ozarks Legacy & Legend,” McFarlain’s Restaurant is decked out in hundreds of antiques, original works of art and photographs. A highlight among the coveted items are commissioned paintings by renowned artist Charles Sumey, featuring scenes from the film in different seasons and generations. Be sure to come see and taste it all inside Branson's IMAX Entertainment Complex at McFarlain's Family Restaurant. References
Everything we ate here was really good! All 9 meals in our party were good and served hot! We had the nicest waitress ever and would recommend this place to anyone! LOVED my chicken fried steak and the corn bread is to die for! I would rate it right up there with Tippens! If your know Tippens cornbread, you know this is good if I'm saything that! LOVED their honeybutter too!! -KSMama
Best service ever - I am not kidding you! Our food (all 9 of us) was really good! Two of us had chicken fried steak, 3 pork tenderloin sandwiches, stir fry, BLT & 2 kid chicken tenders. Really good, not one bad thing to say about their food. The cornbread was really good too! We even had a 10% off coupon so for my family of three (before tip) $27 is a great deal in my opinion! I can not say enough nice things about McFarlains! -Holly
